Groundhog Day

Just got my blood test results for this month.

Worse than last month.

Progesterone - 35.9 (needs to be 60-100)
Oestradiol - 332 (needs to be 400-800)

I am so shit sick of all this.

That's rubbish! So what now? Can they do anything to help with those levels?

Damn. That is so frustrating. Argh. And they have no idea why your hormones do this? Doubly frustrating. What do we want? Answers! When do we want them? Now!

*hugs*

Hey there -- came over here from your comment at my place. I am so sorry to hear about your results. Standing by to hear about the next step for you.

Oh, this is so disappointing. You know most doctors would tell you those numbers are fine. But I know you want to give this regime a fair go. It is so frustrating, especially when you are already taking the drugs. The Clomid will give you a better quality of ovulation resulting in a better egg, even if your numbers aren't up to scratch. Would you be tempted to have a go anyway? I'm sorry, I'm probably not helping at all.

I know, I understand feeling so damned tired.

What is the next step for you?

@ Everyone - I spoke to the doctor on Friday, and this month they're upping the clomid dose to 150mg for five days. So let's just say I won't be having the in laws over for dinner at the weekend :)

Also, I had food intolerance testing done a few months back which showed up a high level of antibodies for cow's milk. So he told me to stick to a strict non dairy diet as this can have a huge effect on hormone levels. So I'll give that a go and see if it does any good.

TBH Fee Bee, I am kinda tempted to try, but the fear of another loss is always there.

Irish Girl, thanks for dropping by! Hope the new kitty is settling in well with the rest of the family!
